Our Homeschool Hangout is designed to provide just that — a welcoming space where homeschool students can work, socialize, and build friendships in a supportive environment.
It’s a place where learning and community naturally come together.
A Space to Work and Learn
Homeschool Hangout gives students dedicated time to focus on their schoolwork while being surrounded by other homeschoolers who are doing the same.
Students are welcome to bring their own assignments, projects, or independent work to complete during this time. The environment encourages productivity while still allowing students the freedom and flexibility that homeschooling provides.
For many students, simply being in a space where others are learning alongside them can increase motivation and focus.
Building Friendships
One of the greatest benefits of Homeschool Hangout is the opportunity for students to connect with peers who share a similar educational path.

Homeschool Hangout is designed to maintain a balance between productivity and social interaction. Students have time to focus on their work while also enjoying opportunities to relax, talk, and build relationships.
This balance helps students stay engaged while creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere for everyone involved.
Optional Academic Support
While Homeschool Hangout is designed to give students a space to work and connect with peers, we also recognize that sometimes a little extra help can make a big difference.
When our tutors are not actively in tutoring sessions, they are often available during hangout time to answer questions, provide guidance, or help students work through challenging assignments. This allows students to get quick support when they need it while still maintaining the relaxed, community-centered atmosphere of the hangout.
For families looking for more structured academic support, formal tutoring sessions can also be scheduled during Homeschool Hangout as an add-on service. This allows students to complete their tutoring lesson and then remain in the hangout space to continue working, socialize, or finish assignments alongside their peers.
This flexibility gives families the option to combine community, productivity, and academic support in a way that best fits their student’s needs.
How it Works
Getting started with Homeschool Hangout is simple.
Sign up using the link at the bottom of this page. When registering, you can choose either a 3-hour session or a full 6-hour session (pricing varies depending on which option you select).
Our hangout hours run from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. You’re welcome to drop off and pick up anytime within that window, as long as your student stays within the 3-hour or 6-hour timeframe you selected when signing up. If you think you may need more than three hours, we recommend choosing the 6-hour option to give yourself more flexibility.
Your student does not need to stay the entire 3 or 6 hours — the time simply reserves their spot during that window.
If possible, please let us know around what time you plan to arrive so we can be ready to welcome you.
Students are welcome to bring any schoolwork or assignments they’d like to work on during hangout time. If they will be here during lunch or snack times, please send a packed lunch or snack. Occasionally we may provide something special, and we will always let families know ahead of time when that happens.
Then relax and enjoy your time, knowing your student is in a welcoming space where they can work, socialize, and connect with other homeschoolers.
